We are looking for a professional Tech Lead to join our team. To succeed in this position, you should have a deep sense of personal product ownership and long-term interest in developing technical and soft skills along with preference for fast-moving markets, agile product development, high energy teams and enjoy working in sometimes-ambiguous and fast iterating early-stage startups. If you have the ability and willingness to create a technical vision in order to turn it into reality with the help of the team, we’d like to hear from you.
A day in the Life
Build new systems in a way that best ensures functional requirements are met.
● Ensure the service qualities (Performance, scalability, extensibility, etc.) are achievable for the existing and upcoming projects.
● Review and improve on existing systems, by making use of new technologies and methodologies to seek continual improvement.
● Provide high level guidance and direction on project work, by ensuring the new projects fit in with an overall strategic vision.
● Ensure code quality and best practices in software development.
● Document the technical designs.
What you will need
● Experience as a Tech lead or similar for a midsize team.
● Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
● Hands on experience in one or more of these languages/frameworks: Java/Python/JavaScript/AngularJS/React JS
● Experience in one or more of the following technologies:
MySQL, Postgres
MongoDB, Redis, Memcached
AWS, Google App Engine, Azure
● Experience in building and delivering effective software solutions.
● Ability to look after overall system architecture and design, ensuring performance and scalability.
● Understanding business requirements and determining appropriate technical solutions.
● Strong communication with technical and business teams.
● Data engineering experience would be a major plus.
